Whale Sport Achieves Highest Hurricane Resistance Rating EFC-4 in Europe

On September 18, 2025, Whale Sport announced that its Panorama series (including the tent version) passed Eurocode 1 wind tunnel tests and obtained the EFC-4 hurricane resistance rating (withstanding instantaneous wind speeds of 55m/s), making it the first padel court brand globally to achieve this rating. The certification is designed for hurricaneprone regions such as the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and the southern Indian Ocean. The WRCPC in France, the first customer to use the certified product, reported that its court survived a recent storm completely undamaged and even served as a temporary shelter.
