Whale Sport Launches “WhaleEye” AI Electronic Line Calling System, Patented in Canada

On November 8, 2025, Whale Sport officially released the “WhaleEye” smart electronic referee system in Quebec, Canada. Using 4 highspeed infrared cameras and an edge computing module, it determines whether a ball is out within 0.2 seconds with ±5mm accuracy and supports voice announcements of “IN/OUT”. The system can be integrated into existing lighting poles without damaging the court. Whale Sport has filed a patent application with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CA3,125,678). The first trial customer, WPLC, reports a 90% reduction in disputed calls.
